Tommy Ballard, 85, of Haskell, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Willow Cemetery with Bro. Tony Grand officiating. Tommy was born August 20, 1932 in Dallas, TX. He was the son of the late A.T. Ballard and Freddie Ballard. In 1955, he married Marianne Friebele in Haskell, TX. Tommy served in the Army during the Korean war. For 20 + years he owned and operated Farm & Ranch Supply. Through the years, along with his family, he worked numerous grain elevators and molasses trucks. He was a member of the Jaycees and enjoyed reading and fixing antiques.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Tommy Charles Ballard and daughter, DeeAnn Ballard.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Marianne Ballard of the homes; grandchildren, Justin Leek and wife Sherri of Henderson; Kolt Leek and wife Whitney of Rule; Will Brueggeman and wife Shelby of O'Brien; great-grandchildren, Lauryn Crane, Kurt Leek, Skylar Leek, Jayde Leek, Keylee Brueggeman, Karver Brueggeman, Ezri Leek, Curzon Leek and a host of dear friends.
