Thomas Charles Barr, Sr

Thomas Charles Barr, Sr., 63, of Haskell, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 in Haskell. A Funeral Service will be 2:30pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Haskell Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Vernon Sessions officiating.  Burial will follow in the Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D.  Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Thomas was born July 01, 1960 in Bangor, Maine, the son of the late Peter LeVesque and Arlene Springer LeVesque.  On November 19th, 1983, he married Carolyn Bond in Austin, Texas.  Thomas worked as an equipment operator and was a life member of the Woodbourne Volunteer Fire Dept of New York.  He loved spending time with his family, grandkids and great grandkids.  He also enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward Barr.

Thomas is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Carolyn of Haskell; daughter, Amanda Brown of New York; sons, Thomas Barr, Jr of Haskell and Kris Barr (Sarah) of North Carolina; seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brothers David LeVesque, John LeVesque, and Mike LeVesque; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
