Teresa was born February 14, 1954, in Quanah, Texas, the daughter of Billie Gene Naron and Marjorie Lasater Naron. She graduated from Quanah High School and earned her associate’s degree in occupational therapy attending Texas Women’s University and Cochise College in Arizona. She traveled working as an occupational therapist for over 25 years.
Teresa had a natural talent for gardening, with a knack for making anything she planted thrive. She was an excellent cook and loved to feed everyone. She had a passion for taking care of others and adopted everyone into the fold to love and care for them. She loved music and was an avid supporter of the arts of all kinds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Devin Arter and sister, Kathryn Gilbreath.
Teresa is survived by her son, Nethaniel Arter and Sandy of Brookhaven, Mississippi; daughters, Dena Winkcompleck-Pina and Lorenzo of Abilene, Texas and Katilyn Medlen of Anson, Texas; grandchildren, Gentrii Roberts, Bindaren Roberts, and Alice Crone and a host of dear friends.
