Robert F. Horan, III

Robert F. Horan, III, 70, of Weinert, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 in Abilene. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Robert (Freddie) was born September 1, 1952, in Haskell. He worked as a CDL truck driver but was a master of all trades. He was a member of the Weinert Foursquare Church, the Weinert Volunteer Fire Department and served on the Weinert City Council.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Luella Horan, parents, Robert F. Horan, Jr., and Bennie Griffis Horan; daughter, Shadella Foster, and son, David Bowling.

Robert is survived by children, Christy Horan Hawkins and husband Joseph Hawkins; Pennie Kaye; Douglas Bowling all of Weinert. He had nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Horan of Weinert; and one niece, Trisha Horan Medina of Weinert. He had numerous cousins and a host of dear friends.
