Robert R. Free, 91, passed away, Friday, October 23, 2020, in Haskell, Texas. A Graveside Service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Willow Cemetery with Kenny Thompson officiating under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Robert was born May 10, 1929 in Weinert, Texas to George Free and Beatrice McDuff Free. He was in the Army during the Korean War as a Medic of the 23rd Regimen. He was a life-long farmer and cattle buyer, loved to fly his plane and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Beatrice Free, his wife, Jean Damron Free, and his sister, Margaret Free Overton.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Roberta Wells of Haskell; grandson, Ryan Wells of Seymour; and niece, Mary Meyer of Dallas; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
