On Friday, October 27, 2023, Virginia “Gale” Tidrow passed away. She was born January 20, 1956 in Frankford, West Germany, the daughter of the late Donald Ray Burleson and Caroline Carmack Burleson. She worked as an LVN for 44 years in Haskell and loved what she did.
On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, Ricky Eugene Tidrow passed away. He was born April 17, 1956 in Haskell, Texas, the son of the late Wayland Bryant Tidrow and Opal Mae Trussel Tidrow. For 28 years he worked for Haskell County. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On February 3, 1979, Ricky and Gale married in Haskell, Texas.
Gale is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sue Mitchell and Jeannette Albuquerque. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents.
They are survived by their children, Sherita Blair and husband Eric of Haskell; Kayla Anderson and husband Steven of Rule; Joshua Tidrow of Haskell; grandchildren, Dylan Souther, Steelyn Blair, Augustus Blair, Wayland Anderson, Kamdyn Anderson and Emery Anderson.
Gale is also survived by sisters, Donna Tidrow and husband Gary of Graham; Brenda Tidrow and husband Bryant of Graham; brothers, Doyle Mitchell and wife Tracy of Abilene; Matt Mitchell and Tammy of Midland; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of dear friends.
Ricky is also survived by sisters, Robbie Griggs of Springtown; Kathy Buker of Dickson, TN; brothers, Gary Tidrow and wife Donna of Graham; Bryant Tidrow and wife Brenda of Graham; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of dear friends.
