Rex Allen Pike, 64, of Vedas Camp at Lake Stamford, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Rex was born March 28, 1960, in San Bernadino, California, the son of the late James Everett Pike and Martha Mansell Pike. He grew up in California and Spain, then his family settled in Slaton, Texas where he graduated from high school in 1979. He married Dianne Bogle in Lubbock on August 8, 1981. He worked as a machinist at Goulds Pump in Slaton for 22 years. He and Dianne moved to Vedas Camp in 2004. She preceded him in death in 2021.

Rex was a down-to-earth, good, and wholesome family man who valued the simple things of life. His love for his family was unwavering, and he always put them first. No matter how tired or busy he was, he cherished and prioritized time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Rex understood the importance of family bonds and made countless memories gathered around the table playing cards, dominoes, and board games. He truly knew that the best moments in life were those spent with the ones you love, and he greatly enjoyed time spent playing with his great grandsons.

Rex also found joy in antique cars, mowing, and treasured his collection of over 200 eagles. One of his favorite moments of the day was his peaceful evening ride on his golf cart with his beloved furry companion, Rosie. Rosie, always by his side, was more than just a pet—she was a faithful companion, sharing in his quiet moments and offering him companionship and comfort.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dianne; sisters, Lorraine Cantrell and Barbara Flores; brothers, Steve Pike and Charles Pike.

Rex is survived by his children, Gregory Leon Bogle and Christina of Abilene, LaTrisha Kay Clark and Jimmy Segura of Lubbock, and Rex Allen Pike Jr and Elisa DeLaCerda of Lubbock; grandchildren, McKayla Moroz and Caden Parker, Charles Clark III and Crissa Moses, Alexa Clark, and Rex Allen Pike III; great grandsons, Tristan Cullum and Braxton Clark, extended family, a host of dear friends, and his beloved little dog, Rosie.
