Raynell Nipper, 82, of Snyder, passed away on April 22, 2018 in Snyder. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Rule with Bro. Scott Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Rule Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D, Haskell, TX. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.
Raynell was born June 29, 1935 in Haskell, Texas, the daughter of Alton and Pauline Burrow Ross. Raynell was a graduate of Rule High School and Texas Tech University with a Master's in Education. She taught Bilingual Studies and 2nd grade for 32 years before retiring. Raynell married Joe Nipper in 1985. She liked to cook, can, spend time with her children and loved to shop.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Miller; daughter, Carol Herron; granddaughter, Crystal Nicole Miller; brother, Johnny Ross; and sisters, Joyce Baliff, Helen Lancaster, Fern Singleton.
Raynell is survived by husband, Joe Nipper, of Levelland; son, Ricky Miller and wife, Stephanie of Snyder, TX; step-daughter, Sherri Glenn of Levelland; step-sons John Joel Nipper and wife, Shannon and Thad Nipper all of Levelland; grandchildren, Vanessa Shiplett and husband, Jason of Haskell, Jessica Miller of Abilene, TX, MacKenzie Martinez and husband, Andy of El Paso, Kelsie Shaginaw and husband, Nick of Haskell, Chance Herron and wife, Candice of Greenville, TX, Morgan Payne and husband, Phil of Snyder, and Malorye Stone and husband, Dusty of Snyder; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kenny Gayle Ross of Haskell and Pam Bevel, of Rochester; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
