Patsy Ruth Wilson, 78, passed away, Monday, August 19, 2019, in Wichita Falls, Texas. A Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the Rochester Cemetery with Bro. Carl Amburn officiating, under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D.
Patsy was born March 2, 1941 in Knox City, Texas to Ophus and Laura Gunnels Posey. She married Johnny E. Wilson on October 30, 1959 in Knox City, Texas. She was a member of The Church of God. Patsy was an LVN and worked at Rice Springs Care Home, Haskell Health Care Center, and Brazos Valley Care Home for more than 30 years. She loved to go fishing, play cards and all kinds of games.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ophus and Laura Posey; husband, Johnny E. Wilson; and sisters, Neta Posey and Bonnie Posey.
Patsy is survived by sons, Johnny Wilson of Haskell, Ricky Wilson of Haskell, William Wilson of Knox City, and Timmy Wilson of Knox City; brothers, Gary Posey of Hawkins, and Roy Posey of Knox City; sisters, Mildred McFadden of Iowa Park and Linda Baughn of Tyler; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
