Pablo "Pocat" Benavides, 55, of Haskell, passed away, Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Haskell. A rosary will be held 6:00pm, Sunday, August 6, 2017 at St George Catholic Church, Haskell. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 2:00pm, Monday, August 7, 2017 at St. George Catholic Church with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Pablo was born February 9, 1962 in Fulfurrias, TX, the son of Amador Benavides, Sr. and Angelica Perez Benavides. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church. Pablo enjoyed dancing and listening to music. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, and sister; Zilda Benavides.

Pablo is survived by his mother, Angelica Benavides of Haskell; sister, Elsa Rodriquez and husband Amado of Knox City; brother, Amador Benavides, Jr and wife Linda of San Angelo; brother, Joe Benavides of Haskell; sister, Emlyn Escobedo and husband Rufino, Jr. of Austin; brother, Hilbert Benavides of Haskell, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
