Oralia "Lala" Martinez

Oralia "Lala" Martinez, 61, of Haskell, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 in Abilene. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, November 3, 2022 at God Loves You Ministries with Kristi Stewart and Bro Vernon Session officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Ave D. Oralia was born August 2, 1961 in Haskell, Texas, the daughter of the late Samuel G. Villarreal and Elena Tonche Villarreal. She and Marie Smiley, the love of her life, have been married since 2009. She was a member of God Loves You Ministries and enjoyed Sunday football. She was a free spirit and above all, she loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Victor Villarreal, Samuel Villarreal, II and sister, Linda Villarreal.

Oralia is survived by wife, Marie Smiley of Haskell; children, Jessica Sosa and husband Freddie of Abilene; Philip Martinez of Abilene; Matias Martinez and wife Amber of Haskell; Jesus Martinez, Jr. and wife Amanda of Rule; Jobita Bable and husband Eric of Jupiter, FL; Daisy Montanez and wife Mollie of Knox City; Rosemary Nava and husband Rojelio, III of Weatherford; Leslie Villarreal of Haskell; Nikki Tranquill of North Carolina; Laura Curiel of Rochester; 27 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Fernando Arredondo of Rule; Alice Rangel of North Carolina; Adrian Villarreal of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
