Norton Kelly Goff, 82, of Haskell, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Abilene. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held 2pm, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 with Philip Sims officiating. The family will receive friends at the home. Please no visitors after 7pm. Kelly was born March 21, 1935 in Butler, Oklahoma, the son of the late Norton Goff and Lorene McCown Goff. He honorably served in the Army for 3 years. For over 50 years, he worked in all aspects of the oilfield. He was a devoted member of the Haskell Church of Christ. Kelly enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jack Milton "Mickey" Goff.
Kelly is survived by his wife of 64 years, Glenda Goff; daughter, Nelda Rico and husband Michael of Anchorage, AK; son, Mark Kelly Goff and wife Patricia of Rosepine, LA; grandchildren, Donna Shackle and husband Devin of Apex, NC, Lisa Ernest and husband Edward of Anchorage, AK; great grandchildren, Ryan and Kelly Shackle; Kira, Lana and Leia Ernest. He is also survived by brothers, Charles Goff, Thomas Edward Dewey, Travis Dewey, brothers-in-law, Eldon O. Wilson and wife Linda of Medford, OR; Ronald F. Wilson and wife Jean of Falkville, AL, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the Kelly Goff Memorial Fund at Haskell National Bank.
