Mary K. Isbell, 81, of Haskell, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 in San Angelo. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 am at Willow Cemetery, on Thursday, March 29, 2018 with Bro. James McFadden officiating. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Ave. D. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.
Mary was born August 12, 1936 in Stamford, Texas to William A. Koonce and Mattie A. (Rutherford) Koonce. On September 16, 1955, she married Tommie Isbell in Stamford, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Edward Isbell and Tommie O. Isbell, grandson, Kenneth W.W. Glass; sister, Dorothy Hatley; brothers, William P. Koonce, Clifford Koonce, Stanley Koonce, Alvin Koonce, Calvin Koonce, as well as 2 infant brothers and 2 infant sisters.
Mary is survived by children, Tonnie Lynn Isbell, Donna Gail King and husband Thomas, Karen Sue Watkins and husband Ricky, Mary Ann Glass and husband Kenneth, Gary Paul Isbell and wife Cathey; daughter-in-law, Nita Isbell; sister, Helen Martin and brother, Wayne "Pete" Koonce and wife Gracie. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Tommie D. Isbell, Jeremiah Isbell, Nikki Shutter, Joseph Isbell, Kelly Trussell, J. Kris Isbell, Justin White, Angela Isbell, Brandon Isbell, Paula Smith, Kimberly Ortiz, Anna Pickard, Kyle Glass, Jordan Watkins, Jessica Watkins; 23 great, grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
