Lorene H. Bradford

Lorene H. Bradford, 89, of Knox City, passed away peacefully at her home, Sunday, February 5, 2023. Services will be held at a later date. Her wishes were to be cremated. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Lorene was born September 7, 1933 in Vernon, Texas, the daughter of the late Ben Henderson and Martha Rushing Henderson. On June 11, 1949, she married Kenneth Duane Bradford, Sr., in Vernon, he preceded her in death March 1, 1998. They moved to Knox City in 1956, and owned and operated City Cleaners for almost 30 years. She was a member of the Church of God, Vernon and a member of the Eastern Star. Lorene enjoyed reading, cooking, baking and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Benny Bradford, 9 sisters and 2 brothers.

Lorene is survived by her children, Carolyn Bettes of Knox City; Kenneth Duane Bradford, Jr and wife Georgia Janie Rodriguez of Dallas; Yolonda Roberts of Midland; Johnny Bradford of Odessa; 11 grandchildren, 16 great, grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
