Lawrence Edward Thomas, 67, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Haskell, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 11:00 am at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Lawrence was born November 26, 1952 in Haskell, Texas to James and Bobbie Ruth Brockington Thomas. He attended Haskell High School. Lawrence loved to work, cook, dance and music.
He was preceded in death by his father, James T. Thomas; brother, J.T. Thomas; and sons, Rocky Thomas and Stacy Silvas.
Lawrence is survived by his mother, Bobbie Ruth Thomas; sons, Tyrone and wife, Marsha, Otis and wife, Kimmy; daughters, Jasmine Thomas and Andrea Bogan; grandchildren, Tyresse Thomas, Tyland Thomas, Jayden Thomas, Jordan Thomas, and Tristen Fowler; sister, Betty Tate; brothers, Carl Dean and Jimmy and wife, Janet; mother of his children, Lola Billington; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Haskell County Experience Center at 1404 South 1st Street, Haskell, TX 79521.
