John “Johnny” Ireland Isbell, 69, of Haskell, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in Haskell. A graveside service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Willow Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Tarvin officiating. A visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm, Friday, September 22, 2023 at Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

John was born June 24, 1954 in Haskell, Texas, the son of Jackie Isbell and Letha Othel McGhee Isbell. He loved to fish and hunt.

He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Jackie Dale Isbell; sister, Dorothy Chesnut; nephews, Allen Chesnut and Justin Chesnut.

John is survived by daughters, Tonya Dever and husband Jonathan of Bossier City, LA; April Rodriquez and husband Samuel of Granbury, TX; son, John Isbell and wife Tara of Cleburne, TX; mother of his children, Betty Isbell of Cleburne, TX; father, Jackie Isbell of Haskell, TX; 16 grandchildren; 12 great, grandchildren; brothers, Alvin Isbell and wife Valerie of Haskell, TX; Tony Isbell and wife Crete of Midland, TX; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
