Jennifer Kay Green

Jennifer Kay Green, 47, of Haskell passed away, Sunday, December 1, 2024 in Jasper, Indiana. A funeral service will be held 11:00am, Monday, December 9, 2024 at the First Baptist Church with Jason Isbell officiating.  A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00pm, Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Jennifer was born March 22, 1977 in Abilene, Texas, the daughter of Helen Diane Garza and Juan Francisco Aguero. She graduated from Haskell High School in 1996. On September 3, 2022, she married Heath Green in Haskell, Texas. For the past two years she has worked as a logistics specialist for Primoris Renewable Energy.

Jennifer was most passionate about her family. She was the first to plan family gatherings and make sure that the family was spending time together. Even when she couldn’t be with her family, she made sure to see them by facetiming. Her positive energy lit up the room, no matter the circumstances. Jennifer lived life to the fullest and was so proud to see her sons join the military and her daughter become a mom. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father, Juan Francisco Aguero on January 4, 2022.

Left to cherish Jennifer’s memory are her husband, Heath Green of Haskell; children, Bradley Villarreal of Germany; Larissa Montgomery and husband, Joseph of Anson, Matthew Villarreal of Haskell, Austin Green of Michigan, Rachell Santiago and husband, C.J. of Vermont; grandchildren, Josiah Villarreal, Gracellynn Montgomery, Ellianna Montgomery, Lyla Green, Savannah Santiago, Mylah Santiago, Cal Santiago, and Shelby Santiago. She is also survived by her mother, Diane Ortiz and husband, Nick of Stephenville; sister, Juanita Trujillo and husband, Joe of Haskell, brothers, Jonathan Aguero and wife, Elizabeth of Kentucky, Christopher Aguero and wife Stormi of New Mexico, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
