James W. Furrh

James W. Furrh, 80, of Haskell passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 in Haskell. A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, May 13, 2019 at Crestview Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. James was born December 22, 1938 in Young County, Texas, the son of the late James B. Furrh and Thelma Stephens Furrh. Jim was raised with his step-mother Anne Furrh. For 30 years he worked as an account in the oil and gas industry. He was a member of the First Christian Church. James liked to take care of others, always making sure others were well taken care of.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.

James is survived by his son, Jarrett Furrh of Fort Worth, TX; daughter, Jamie Furrh Quinn of Dallas, TX; grandson, Brock Quinn, and extended family and friends.
