Jackie Sue Johnson, 90, of Hurst, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in Haskell. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Weinert Cemetery with Bro. Dan Bullock officiating. Viewing will be Friday, March 5, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Haskell Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Sue was born November 12, 1930, in Weinert, TX; the daughter of the late Jack and Katherine Walker. On July 5, 1948, she married Willie Russell Johnson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hurst. Sue enjoyed painting.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Drinnon.
Sue is survived by her husband Willie Russell Johnson of Haskell; Sons, Jerry W. Johnson and wife Joyce of Grapevine, TX; Michael Johnson and wife Bonnie of Haskell, TX; grandchildren, Alison Neile Richardson, Robert Boyd, Barbara Evartt, Ashleigh Thibodeaux, Michael Shane Johnson, Shonda Lynn Tice, Shelley Nicole Johnson, Brandie Renee Lowe, Stephanie Le Taylor, Ladd Mason; 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great-grandchildren, sister, Grace Hanson of McKinney, TX, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
