Glenn Hale, 86, of Haskell, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Haskell. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Haskell Church of Christ, with Philip Sims officiating. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.
Glenn was born June 29, 1936 in McCauley, Texas, the son of the late Austin Zenith Hale and Nora Elizabeth West Hale. On July 6, 1958, he married the love of his life, Hazel Nell Andress, in Haskell, TX. In 1998, he retired from General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin, as a Tool Forman after 25 years. He was a member of the UAW Machinist Union. In his earlier years, he was a sponsor for the Southwest High School Rodeo Team. Glenn enjoyed refinishing furniture, ceramic painting and gardening. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hazel Nell Hale on December 3, 2021; brothers, Ray Hale; David Hale and sister, Elise Gibbons.
Glenn is survived by his daughter, Tammy Money and Husband Steve of Haskell; son, Jimmy Hale and wife Renee of Ft. Worth; granddaughters, Stephanie Stokes and husband Chuck of Abu Dhabi, Victoria Hale of Ft. Worth; great-granddaughters, Brianna and Keira Stokes both of Abu Dhabi; brother, John Hale of Weatherford; sister, Susan Hale of Cresson and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of dear friends.
Glenn has resided at Haskell Healthcare Center for the past 3 years. The staff not only were Glenn and Hazel's care givers, but they also became family. The family would like to express their deep appreciation for all the love and care shown to Glenn and Hazel.
