Deborah Gayle Windsor, 71, of Haskell, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Haskell, Texas. A graveside service will be held 10:30am, Friday, August 2, 2024 at Howard Cemetery with Pastor Dillon Mathes officiating, under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D.  A visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.  Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Debbie was born November 4, 1952, in Haskell, Texas to Therman Medford and Oleta Mitchell Medford. Debbie was a hair stylist at Martha’s Beauty Shop in Haskell for over 20 years. She enjoyed yard work, cleaning, and playing the piano. She was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God church where she served as the pianist for over a decade beginning when she was only 16 years old. She was also a member of the Haskell Auxiliary VFD. 

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sue Brown; brother-in-law, Verl Brown; brother, Leroy Medford; brother-in-law, Jerry Kemletz; and son-in-law, Greg Taylor, Sr.

Debbie is survived by her children: son, Alan Merchant and Crystal of Abilene, TX and daughter, Stacy Taylor of Stamford, TX; Grandchildren, Dillon Mathes and Mia of Abilene, TX, Samantha Mathes of Abilene, TX, Rusty Rogers and Cynthia of Haskell, TX, Kelsey Decker and Shawn of Midland, TX, Andrew Hearn and Shaylee Merchant of Abilene, TX; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Danny Medford and Vicki of Haskell, TX, sister, Margaret Kemletz of Pearland, TX, and brother, James Medford and Bonnie of Abilene, TX; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends.
