Carol Sue McFadden, 76, of Haskell, entered her heavenly home, Monday, February 24, 2025, surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, February 28, 2025 at the First Assembly of God with Bro. Carl Amburn officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Haskell Funeral Home. Carol was born February 12, 1949 in Fresno, CA, the daughter of the late Betty Jo Davis Fullen and Lonnie Fullen. In 1982, they moved to Haskell and in 1983, she married the love of her life, James McFadden.
Throughout her life, Carol dedicated herself to her family, creating a loving home filled with warmth and laughter. She was not only a devoted mother but also cherished her role as a babysitter, nurturing countless children in the community. In partnership with her husband, she co-founded and operated McFadden's BBQ, where she shared her love of cooking and hospitality with friends and neighbors.
Carol was a proud member of the First Assembly of God, where she found strength and fellowship in her faith. Her dedication to her church community was evident in her active participation and the love she shared with others. She adored spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Ethan McNelly; sister, Nancy Stevens; brothers Leroy Fullen and Bobby Fullen.
Carol is survived by her husband, James McFadden of Haskell; children, Jama Park and husband Jerry of Clyde; Gregory McFadden and wife Jennifer of Royal Palm, FL; Trecia McNelly and husband Morgan of Shallowater; Devona Matteson of Abilene; Aaron McFadden and wife Edie of Lubbock; Thresa Rohrback and husband Montana of Springfield, OR; grandchildren, Jay Louder, Justin Louder, Jeremy Louder, Laci Louder, Jessica McFadden, Colby McFadden, Austin McFadden, Bayleigh McFadden, Ren Allen, Taylor McFadden, Joshua McNelly, Calvin Cazares, Tessa Cazares, Phillip Park, Paul Park, and Phillena Park; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Emerson of Stephenville, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of dear friends.
