Brenda Marie Luce, 45, of Haskell, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at her home. A memorial service will be held 7:00 pm, this evening, August 9, 2016 at the Haskell Funeral Home Chapel, 2 Avenue D, Haskell, with Bro. Morris Johnson and Bro. Stephen Strealy officiating. Brenda was born November 13, 1970 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Richard Starner and Alice Fullen Starner. She was in the 1990 graduating class in Akron, Ohio. Brenda has been a resident of Haskell for the past 9 years. For the last several years she has worked as the maintenance caretaker of the Haskell Civic Center. She was a dedicated worker and could out work anyone. She enjoyed games of chance and skill. As her daughter would say, "She loved us to death, she wouldn't have wanted us to go on without knowing we were her world." She will be greatly missed. Gone too soon, but never forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her father, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Brenda is survived by her mother, Alice Starner; children, Alannah Luce; Kiannah Luce, Breannah Luce and Christopher Luce, Jr.; sister, Nikki Krem; brother, Richard Starner; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends.
