Bobbie was born October 09, 1955 in Haskell, Texas, the daughter of the late William Raymond Carter and Edna Elfrieda Custer Carter. She graduated from Mary Meeks School of Nursing, and worked as a Home Health Administrator, retiring in 1991. Bobbie was a member of Ridgemont Baptist Church in Abilene, TX. She was a strong, compassionate Christian woman, who never met a challenge she couldn't overcome.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Bobbie is survived by son, Brandon Howard and wife Margi, grandchildren, Preston, Barrett, Gannon all of Arlington; daughter, Sharlet Butz and husband Jonathan, grandchildren, Melanie and Javier all of Abilene, TX; son, Casey Sutterfield, granddaughter, Kodie Marie of Abilene, TX; step-son, Cody Sutterfield and wife Lorena, grandchildren, Sydney and Seth all of Corpus Christy, TX; brother, Billy Jack Carter; sisters, Mary Lee Sorrells, Sally Jean Medford, Deeann Carter, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
